Basic Performance Chart

Overview

The Basic Performance chart plots intraday performance for securities such as stocks, indexes, and ETFs, and shows historical performance for those investment types, as well as open-end funds. The chart can change focus when the user selects a security from any watchlist or when a specific security is searched for.

No benchmark can be selected for comparison, and only one investment can display at a time. Five time periods are available for selection, but otherwise no settings can be changed. Consider using the Return component instead, or the Advanced Performance Chart for even more in-depth analysis.

 

Alternate Uses

Although you cannot use <CTRL>+click to broadcast multiple investments at once to this component, consider creating a custom worksheet with multiple Basic Performance Chart components, then use the Search field in each one to display a different investment.
